Alcatraz is arguably the most famous themed restaurants in Japan and started the trend of overall bizarre themed restaurant about a decade ago or more. Setting its place is a prison medical and visitors are patient. The maid dressed as a nurse and after entering the restaurant they will handcuff you, (pretend to) inject a giant needle into your butt and lock you in a cell where you eat. Five star service here.
While in prison, you can order dishes such as Chicken Dead (two chicken legs are tied), and intestine (sausage-shaped gut, but for some reason they do not use the actual intestines of animals). To get the attention of your waiter, you have to bang on the bars in a prison cell as truth.
Most of the drinks served in test tubes and beakers and there are many actors who roam the place that pretends to be a patient who escape and scare you at every opportunity. The nurse also dressed quite minimal, thus attracting the attention of men. Haha ... Very unique :3
Ninja Akasaka
This restaurant is all about ninja and is located in the business district Akasake-Mitsuke, Tokyo. The entrance leads into a maze of various corridors such as the cave where the staff assist you through the maze contains trap doors and the lift bridge full of traps before you sit down at your private table. Ninja magician came to do their magic ninja while you eat. Other ninja sneak with a menu and food, and there are many strange things to be seen while eating.
The interior is like a maze is intended to make the place look like an old Japanese castle and all the food themed ninja and Japanese feudal era. The restaurant, along with Alcatraz, is one of the most popular themed restaurants and famous in Japan.

Alice Magic World
If you did not guess from the name, Alice of Magic World is Alice in Wonderland-themed restaurant located in Tokyo, Japan. Besides having a name that is really awkward, this restaurant offers a lot of unique things that take model from the original novel and the Disney animated Alice. This restaurant is designed to evoke a wonderful feeling of fantasy and surrealism while eating.
The restaurant includes a dining table shaped cards, giant tea cup stand, enchanted forest, and a heart-shaped chandeliers. One of the creators of this restaurant says that they "want to give the guests the excitement and surprise, like an unreal world with various magical country. but we do not want to be attracting attention. "Attract attention or not, this place does look quite impressive. Alice in Wonderland fans certainly will not be disappointed.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of foods including Pizza Cheshire Cat Tail and Burgundy-style Braised Beef Cheek in the Queen of Hearts Red Wine Sauce.
